Christophe Jean-Marie Cornubert Bio Christophe Jean-Marie Cornubert graduated in 1990 from the Graduate School of Architecture at the University of California, Los Angeles. Christophe worked briefly for Frank O. Gehry Associates before accepting a position with Rem Koolhaas at Office for Metropolitan Architecture in Europe. His last project as Partner in Charge of Design for the Educatorium Center for Utrecht University received the prestigious Reitveld architecture prize and declared a national showcase for sustainable design.In 1999 Cornubert founded PUSH, an architecture and interior design office in Los Angeles. He has been a consultant for diverse projects and clients in locations ranging from Rio de Janeiro to Hollywood. Recent design projects include the Museum of Environmental Art in Lafayette, the Hotel Pro Forma in Copenhagen, and residences in Venice and the Hollywood Hills. Christophe has exhibited his work and lectured extensively in Europe and America. He has been a visiting professor and critic at leading architecture schools around the world, including the Berlage Institute in Amsterdam, SCIarc, the Royal Academy of Art in Copenhagen, and the Architectural Association in London. Articles on his work have been published in Metropolis Magazine (New York), Hunch (Netherlands), 10+1 (Japan), the Tate Museum Magazine (London), and LA Architect |
